Okay, so you took that first step of partnering with Eventum – great choice. However, you made your venue profile and you’re not receiving as many booking requests as you'd like. Don't worry - we got you.  In order to optimize your venue profile and receive as many bookings for your event space as possible, you’ll need to make sure you’re doing these things. Keep reading for helpful tips and tricks!

1.     Large, high-quality images

This is probably one of the biggest tips for increasing venue bookings - if you don’t have big, high resolution photos, your profile just won’t look as good! Make sure you’re providing labeled, high-quality images to capture visitors’ eyes and get that booking request!

2.     Relevant event package PDFs and floor plans

To make sure site visitors have as much information as possible before contacting you, make sure you’re supplying your profile with relevant event packages, menus and floor plans. The quicker a visitor has information, the quicker you’ll receive a booking.

3.     Accessibility

Is your event space handicap-accessible? If it is, make sure you let us know! Accessibility is important and we want to make sure everyone who wants an event space is able to book one.

4.     Short and sweet

Keep your venue descriptions short and sweet! The initial paragraph should capture the visitors’ attention, not bore them. There’s no reason you should have more than one short paragraph on your venue profile. Leave the additional information as PDF event packages and floor plans you can upload onto the venue profile!

5.     Be responsive

Make sure you’re replying to all inquiries and booking requests as soon as possible! When it comes to booking your event space – you snooze, you lose. Site visitors are 50% more likely to book a venue when the venue owner is speedy and responsive so don’t hesitate to respond when you get that first email about a booking request.
